About the Author

Tammy Bleck found herself single at 50 after 25 years of marriage, broke, unemployed, kid off to college and the cat and dog to feed. Not exactly her life's plan.  In an effort to find out what happy single women knew that she obviously was missing, she interviewed 100 single women between 50-69 and shockingly found out that 98 out of the 100 stated emphatically they would NOT remarry again. There was lots more to this business at being single past 50, and she wrote about it.

Tammy classifies herself as an L.A. kid; born and raised.  She has gone through bankruptcy, foreclsosure, unemployment and the food stamp line.  Make no mistake; she went on to have some hefty successes.  A self made survival expert for the city of L.A., a TV producer for her own show, co-owner of a leading property management firm, she is now an acclaimed author and speaker. Not bad for a kid from the wrong side of the tracks.
